Tumor suppressor gene TP53
TP53, a gene on chromosome 17, encodes a tumor suppressor protein containing transcriptional activation, DNA binding and oligomerization domains. The encoded protein P53 responds to a variety of cellular stresses and regulates the expression of target genes, thereby inducing cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, senescence, DNA repair or metabolic changes. Mutations in this gene are associated with a variety of human cancers, including hereditary cancers such as Li-Fraumeni syndrome.
*Evaluate tumor suppressor ability: TP53 gene is a tumor suppressor gene that is associated with a variety of cancers. *Auxiliary diagnosis and prognosis: TP53 gene testing can determine the benign or malignant nature of the tumor and its prognosis. *Monitor changes in condition: Clinically, blood tests, imaging tests, etc. can be used to observe the development and progression of the disease and adjust the treatment plan in a timely manner.
